Alimentos SAS S.A. is a company located in Bogotá, Colombia, founded in 1979 and a pioneer in the industrialization of the pulp of tropical fruits.

Our mission is to provide the consumer with foodstuffs of an excellent quality and benefits, working together with producers and distributors in the development of an efficient, profitable system and with a high priority in service and fidelity.

We have built the base of our permanence in the market through the development of tight commercial ties with our fruit suppliers, who supply us from a great number of places around the country. The source of our raw materials and the experience acquired throughout these many years allows us to obtain fruit pulp, frozen fruit, juices and fruit-filled pastry, constantly exceeding our customerís expectations. Moreover, we have consistently maintained a philosophy of quality, commitment and integrity in service, which has allowed us to obtain a solid local market share and to successfully explore external markets.

The market currently serviced by SAS is basically composed by most self-service distribution chains in the country, and by institutional clients (fast food chains, hotels, restaurants, educational institutions and hospitals). We have a client base of over 500 active customers at a national level. Moreover, there is a growing export market for tropical fruit pulps at a natural concentration.

The offices and production plant are located in the Puente Aranda Industrial Zone in Bogotá, in an area of 1200 m2 (12000 sq ft.), with the capacity to process approximately 150 tons of fruit per month. SAS has 50 employees who see to production, commercialization, administrative processes and company planning.
